Since the fifth of March Microsoft has launched a Windows update high priority as KB-976002. This update is intended to fulfill the agreements with the European Commission on freedom of choice for users on your web browser.

Users who have activated the Windows Update will update automatically installed in doing so create a shortcut on the desktop which when pressed you get a page with a list of web browsers.

Moreover, the first time you log on your computer after installing the update, Windows Internet Explorer automatically starts and displays the Web page selection Explorer.

Before performing any action should take into account that in case of selecting a different browser from Internet Explorer, the first thing the update is to remove IE from your computer, so will the new browser but not Internet Explorer from Microsoft. 

Once installed, this software update can not be uninstalled.

In PCs computers of FCC intranet will not happen this update, but for users who make updates directly from Microsoft Update Service must to leave Internet Explorer as web browser from Microsoft.
