Magín Pont, Partner and Managing Director of Pont Mestres & Asociados law firm, visited La Nostra Casa de Fort Pienc retirement home on 9 February in an event organised by FCC volunteers and the Esther Koplowitz Foundation.

Pont, who holds a law degree from the University of Barcelona, gave a talk entitled "Words and emotions", which dealt with optimism, love and respect for others, self-confidence, finding happiness within, and focusing on what's important—values which he learned from his mother, who was in attendance.

He also recommended spending time in the open air each day, getting in touch with nature, and developing friendships. He ended his presentation with a bit of advice: "Don't let the urgent stuff take precedence over the important stuff. No matter how far the spirit goes, the heart goes even further."

After his talk, the FCC volunteers presented Magín Pont with a painting by Down's Syndrome children.
