Esther Alcocer joins the King and Queen at the inauguration of the EFE 75th anniversary exhibition

FCC Chairman, Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, attended the inauguration of the exhibition "EFEPrior to the exhibition, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía presided over the presentation of the King of Spain International Journalism Awards and the Don Quijote Journalism Award, which recognised the work of journalists in Argentina, Brazil, Nicaragua, the United States, Peru and Spain, with special mention for media professionals from Colombia and Mexico. A total of 176 candidates from 19 countries were evaluated by the jury for the 31st edition of the King of Spain Journalism Awards, organized by EFE and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).

The exhibition will run until 11 January, and is the first to use augmented reality technology. It features iconic photographs, documents and objects from the recent history of Spain and that of the agency, while also offering a vision of what the future holds for journalism.
