FCC receives three awards at AERCE 2012

FCC's procurement and e-commerce model received three distinctions at the 2012 Diamond Procurement Awards, organised by the Spanish Association of Purchasing Managers (AERCE).

The first award, in the Procurement Function Transformation category, recognises FCC's procurement model as the driver of a successful profound transformation of the overall purchasing function. The second award, "Procurement Manager of the Year", was presented to Juan Carlos Montejano Domínguez, Head of Procurement at FCC Group. The third distinction was an honourable mention in the "Best Use of Financial/Technological Tools" category.

AERCE uses these awards to recognise the people and institutions whose initiatives enhance the procurement function and to raise awareness about best practices so that other companies can be aware of and apply novel procurement solutions.

The awards ceremony took place in the context of the AERCE annual conference.
