The Global Compact is an international initiative proposed by the United Nations and created with the aim of implementing within businesses Ten Principles of management that embrace the United Nations' goals in four different aspects: human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption.

The FCC Group as a whole and FCC Construcción have implemented diverse initiatives and projects within the framework of their participation in the Global Compact, and most notably by requiring all their suppliers to abide by these Ten Principles within their contractual relations by means of a general respect clause that, in the event of a breach, can give rise to termination of the agreement
