FCC distinguished for its Strategic Plan for Road Safety

"The 100 Best Ideas of the Year" awards are presented annually by Actualidad Económica magazine. They seek to recognise the 100 most innovative ideas, in different categories, which stood out for their originality and quality in 2011.

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and in line with its citizen services and employee services policies, FCC views traffic accidents as a social and labour problem and has implemented a group-wide culture of road safety with its 2010-2015 strategic plan.

This plan consists of a progressive internationalisation project, for which FCC has set a target of reaching its more than 92,000 employees worldwide, and as a result of adequate dissemination, the plan is expected to have an indirect impact on over 200,000 people (customers, suppliers, employees' families). It will also have a significant impact on FCC's fleet, which comprises over 21,500 company-owned vehicles.
