The FCC Group is participating in the European Week for Safety and Health at Work 2016, to be held from 24 to 28 October and which will stage numerous activities with the aim of enhancing occupational health and safety.

The European Union has launched its European Week for Safety and Health at Work 2016, in which a host of initiatives are proposed in all member countries of the Union to promote sustainable work and healthy aging for both workers and enterprises alike.

One of the many initiatives involves the publication of an Electronic Guide on Managing Occupational Health and Safety, which provides practical information on age-related issues in the working environment, given the present context in which European workers increasingly live to a longer age.

In this regard, the guide offers tips for workers, businesses and society as a whole, with recommendations on occupational health and safety, with the aim of preventing health problems throughout a person’s working life by encouraging sustainable work and aging.

This Electronic Guide also suggests resources to help raise awareness and establish measures on the actions required to ensure that European workplaces are healthy for workers and their professional development.

As a partner in the campaign, FCC is participating in its distribution by circulating the guide to its business areas and by providing information and a link on in-house media to the digital contents.

As part of our commitment to its distribution, we invite and encourage you to access documents and information from the Electronic Guide for further details about the campaign and the advice it gives about improving work environment conditions.
