FCC is to hold its second Eco-efficiency Awards
In view of the success of the first edition, in which more than 100 projects participated, FCC is to hold its second Eco-efficiency Awards, which aim to recognise FCC employee initiatives and actions that contribute to sustainable development, appropriate use of natural resources, and the introduction of new processes.
As in the previous edition, awards will be given in two categories:
- Eco-efficiency-related idea/project that improves the lives of citizens.
- Eco-efficiency-related idea/project that improves the company's results.
Changes this year include the option of entering individually or as a team and the creation of a Technical Committee comprised of the members of FCC Group's Innovation Committee to shortlist entries.
One prize will be awarded for each category, consisting of a 5-day all-paid trip for two to New York (including flight, hotel, and 1,000 euros in spending money). The jury will also present two honourable mentions.
FCC employees interested in participating in the Eco-efficiency Awards may obtain the rules and entry form at their work centres or download it on FCC's intranet.
The first edition of this initiative proved to be an enriching experience for participants and we are confident that this second edition will continue to advance our standing as a sustainable company. To that end, we encourage you to consider submitting an entry; we would also ask you to spread the word throughout the organisation and urge co-workers to participate.
