FCC joins the Easter Week travel campaign launched by the Traffic Department

FCC joins the Easter Week travel campaign launched by the Traffic Department

oad safety has been a permanent concern in FCC. For this reason, it wishes to join the road safety campaign launched by the General Traffic Directorate (DGT) for the Easter holidays, a time when millions of journeys are concentrated and numerous trafic jams and accidents are usual. Journeys to enjoy the holidays will start in the next few days and it is advisable to follow the traffic recommendations issued by that organisation.

The special supplement published by the DGT details the worst times and days for travelling, the areas in which historically the highest concentrations of vehicles have occurred, where to expect conflictive points (due to roadworks, tolls, city entrances and exits, etc), the most common destinations, the most-used means for travelling, the special measures that the DGT will enable to improve traffic fluidity and advice ranging from what to check in a car, how to place luggage so it is safer, how to stop if necessary for a minor emergency, how to drive in the special lanes normally provided to improve traffic fluidity in large exit and return operations and how to obtain information on road incidents updated in real time, among other advice.

Enjoy the holidays but -  take care!
