Fernando Cerezo of Aqualia presents his book Alas de Plastilina

Our colleague, Fernando Cerezo, who works at Aqualia, is scheduled to present his book Alas de Plastilina (Plasticine Wings) at San Pablo CEU University Foundation tomorrow, 22 February, at 19.30. The book deals with his relationship with his son, Javier, who has Adams-Oliver syndrome, and the unusual way in which he and his family have responded to this challenge.

Fernando Cerezo Rodero was born in Madrid in 1969. He is married and has three children. He graduated in Business Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has worked as head of planning and control at Aqualia in Madrid for the last ten years.

His writing encompasses a range of genres: novel (Príncipe de Asturias, about life on board the Spanish Navy's flagship), non-fiction (Jugando en Televisión, about his experience in front of and behind the camera), poetry and stories. He is also an active blogger and has contributed to a web site about television.

Alas de Plastilina (Plasticine Wings) is an ode to optimism, in which our colleague Fernando shows how to overcome the worst that life can deal us, and details his own personal way of understanding his son's illness. In it we learn that, with tons of love and patience, it is possible to live a full life.
