José Manuel Velasco appointed to the Spanish State Council for Corporate Social Responsibility

José Manuel Velasco Guardado, General Director of Communication and Corporate Responsibility at FCC Group, has been appointed to the Spanish State Council for Corporate Social Responsibility (CERSE). The Council is the Spanish government's main advisory body on corporate social responsibility (CSR).

José Manuel Velasco appointed to the Spanish State Council for Corporate Social Responsibility

Chaired by the Minister of Labour and Immigration, the Council comprises members of government, unions and businesses and institutions with prestige in the area of CSR. It supports the Spanish government in identifying and promoting best practices and proposing CSR policies.

José Manuel Velasco, a member of FCC Group's Management Committee, graduated in Journalism from Madrid's Complutense University. He is chairman of the Spanish Association of Communications Executives (Dircom), a member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, and an honorary member of Forética.
