José Manuel Velasco wins Gold Antenna award
The Spanish Federation of Radio and Television Associations has announced the winners of its "Gold Antenna" (Antena de Oro) awards. The awards, created in 1962, are granted annually to leading professionals in the field of audiovisual communications and broadcasting.
In this edition, José Manuel Velasco, General Manager of Communication and Corporate Responsibility at FCC and Chairman of the Spanish Association of Communication Executives (DIRCOM), was granted a Special Gold Antenna in recognition of his work in the news field and his relations with television and radio from his position in corporate communications.
The other three Special Gold Antenna awards went to: Marta Robles, radio and TV presenter; María Dolores de Cospedal, President of the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government; and the Alumni of Radio Juventud de España, where many great professionals had their first opportunity.
Other winners in this 39th edition of the Gold Antenna awards include: María Casado (TVE); Manolo Lama (COPE); José Antonio Abellán (Punto Radio); Juan Ramón Lucas (RNE); Carlos Sobera (Antena 3); Marta Reyero (Cuatro), and Christian Gálvez (Tele 5, Pasapalabra).
The Gold Antennas are among the most prestigious in the field of communications in Spain.
