There were several guests in attendance, including the Chairwoman of the Esther Koplowitz Foundation, Esther Koplowitz, directors such as Alicia Alcocer, Fernando Falcó, Rafael Montes, Felipe García, and Juan Castells, as well as members of the management committee and leading figures in academia and business.

Ms. Martínez Zabala led a wine tasting in which several residents participated, and spoke about the role of our senses—sight, smell, taste, and hearing—in understanding wine.

She shared her extensive experience and expertise about the world of wine, to which she has had close ties all of her life through her family, which owns one of Spain's most important and well-established wineries and boasts an excellent selection of reds, whites and rosés under the Faustino brand.

After the lecture, FCC's Head of Corporate Responsibility, Javier López-Galiacho, presented Ms. Martínez Zabala with the traditional speaker gift: a painting by children at the Madrid Down Syndrome Foundation.
