A work team comprising staff from different Business Areas and with different roles (Purchasing, Administration, DSTI, etc.) has developed a new “FCC Group Material and Service Master” for all SAP Integra users in Spain. This Master is a shared catalogue of materials and services adapted to the needs of every Business Area regarding Purchasing.

The new Master is organised and structured and contains materials and services organised in a homogeneous and flexible way into families and subfamilies so as to be able to easily identify the following, among others:

• The volume of expenditure for materials or services provided or consumed at Company, Area and/or Group level.
• Synergies in products and services, facilitating subsequent negotiation.
• Deviations in expenditure.

After summer, this Master will be loaded and launched in all Spanish companies managed in SAP Integra. This will take place in two phases:

i. Phase one: launch for the whole Group, with the exception of the the Services created by the Infrastructure Area to issue Proforma invoices on SAP (advanced billing).
ii. Phase two: the Service Master for Infrastructures will be created and defined.

After being launched, all purchasing documents (orders, contracts, annexes, etc.) must be reported on SAP using the new Material and Service Master.

The information will be completed in subsequent communications so as to facilitate a smooth transition as far as possible.
