Aqualia Ethical Channel
The Ethical Channel is a tool that allows the disclosure through a simple form and in a confidential manner of those potentially irregular activities and behaviours that may lead to a breach of the Protocol on workplace, sexual or gender harassment in the Code of Ethics and Conduct and / or the possible committing of a criminal offense.
All communications shall be received and analysed diligently, rigorously and confidentially by the Compliance Committee, and a protocol defined in a detailed manner and based on best practices shall be applied to all of these, with the aim of providing them with a response and orderly treatment.
The Ethics Channel serves a dual purpose. On the one hand, it helps to ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and Conduct, and Harassment Protocol, by making it possible to communicate possible breaches of the fundamental principles and values of the Group. On the other hand, it is a requirement of the most recent reform of the Penal Code for any Model for the Prevention and Detection of Criminal Offenses.
