The Water Association (Mancomunidad de Aguas in Spanish) "El Girasol", located in the provinces of Cuenca and Toledo (Castilla-La Mancha), made up of 13 municipalities, extends the contract and will continue to provide service to 26,000 citizens

The contract maintains the same conditions for the management of drinking water and sewerage services in the municipalities that make up "El Girasol". It also involves the renovation of obsolete supply networks and installations, with special attention to the elimination of asbestos cement pipes 

 This extension reinforces Aqualia's commitment in Castilla-La Mancha, where the company already serves nearly 1.7 million inhabitants of Castilla-La Mancha in 278 municipalities, ensuring the sustainability of the water and sewerage management service
