Aqualia will supply drinking water to La Llagosta, a municipality with over 13,000 inhabitants located in the Vallés Oriental region, just over 15 km from Barcelona city

The 25-year contract will allocate 16 % of the revenue to the renewal and optimisation of the town's hydraulic infrastructure. Additionally, it will establish an annual social fund for the exemption or discount of users recognised as 'vulnerable' by the Town Council's Social Services

During the first two years of the contract, the company will invest more than 2.5 million euros in network improvements
