In Guipúzcoa, the Añarbe Water Authority has awarded a contract to a joint venture led 90% by Aqualia, in partnership with a local company, for the comprehensive management of its systems from yesterday . The contract, which runs for four years and is worth €32.4 million, covers the provision of water supply services to more than 320,000 residents across 10 municipalities, including San Sebastián. The agreement includes the operation of key infrastructure such as the Añarbe reservoir, the Petritegi water treatment plant and the Loiola and Gurutze wastewater treatment plants, as well as analytical monitoring of water quality.
