Renovation works on the Calp-Teulada section of Line 9 of the Alicante Tram have been awarded to FCC

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) (the Valencian public railway company) has awarded the works for the renewal of track and conditioning of the infrastructure of Line 9 of the Alicante Tram between the stations of Calp and Teulada to UTE FCC, CHM and Contratas y Ventas S.A. The award amounts to more than 9 million euros for just over 12 kilometres of track.

The action, which is part of the work carried out by the Generalitat for the modernisation of Line 9 of the Alicante Tram, has a completion time of 12 months, including operations in tunnels, bridges and structures.

This activity is part of the work that the Territorial Policy, Public Works and Housing Department is implementing in order to modernise Line 9 that links Benidorm to Denia.
