The Future Valleys Construction consortium winner of the “Best Newcomer Award” within the Valued Partner Awards

The Future Valleys Construction consortium, which designs and executes the A-465 project in Wales (United Kingdom), has been the winner of the “Best Newcomer Award” within the Valued Partner Awards. This award is the recognition of the social, labor and educational program that the consortium develops in the different local communities of Wales.

The project consists of the extension of the A465 highway, in sections 5 and 6, which have a length of 17.3 kilometers and are located between the towns of Dowlais Top, Merthyr Tydfil and Hirwaun. Currently, these sections of the highway have only one carriageway and heavy traffic.

This project is important for the improvement of mobility and connectivity in Wales, as well as for the reactivation of the local economy. The expansion of the A465 is an important investment that will allow the generation of a set of benefits for local companies that participate in the development of the work.
