The new management model for the operational cost control of FCC Construcción has now been implemented in two pilot works projects

The Vallirana Joint Venture in Barcelona and the Arroyo de la Charca-Grimaldo Joint Venture in Cáceres have become the first two pilot projects to use this new model, thereby commencing the roll-out schedule of this new tool which is aimed at the comprehensive control of unit costs.

The role and effort of the six initially chosen pilot works has been crucial to successfully finish the first round of this initial implementation phase that introduces a new philosophy of analysing and managing costs on works.

During this week, those involved in developing this new model ensured all of the data from these two works was migrated to the new space.

This process represents the introduction of the first phase of the roll-out schedule, and it aims to assess the particular traits and behaviour of this new system in a real environment with the aim of adapting the model to the real business needs, and thus, expanding it to all works within a national and international scope as of 2016.
