The president of the Regional Government of Castilla y León visits the renovation and modernization project of the Santa Bárbara de Soria University Hospital, built by FCC Construcción. It is a hospital center that will have the best facilities and technology to offer the most appropriate treatment to cancer patients. It is estimated that it will carry out nearly 5,000 sessions a year, avoiding trips to other hospitals for people suffering from this disease.

The forecast is that the civil works will be available at the beginning of next summer, to subsequently proceed with the assembly and equipment. In this way, it is expected that the outpatient clinics will begin to operate at the end of 2024. It will also house the Dialysis Unit and the Medical and Oncology Day Hospitals.

When the project ends, a more accessible, spacious, modern, comfortable and technologically advanced hospital will be obtained.
