The A465 section 5 and 6 project (Wales, United Kingdom), executed by FCC Construcción, has opened its first information and visitor centre. The purpose of the center is to inform and show the multiple advantages of the project to the local communities directly or indirectly affected by the expansion of the highway.

The project developed under the PPP model consists of the expansion of the A465 highway, in sections 5 and 6, which have a length of 17.3 kilometers and are located between the towns of Dowlais Top, Merthyr Tydfil and Hirwaun. Currently, these sections of the highway have only one carriageway and heavy traffic.

The development of the project is important for the improvement of mobility and connectivity in Wales, as well as for the reactivation of the local economy. The expansion of the A465 represents a significant investment that will enable the generation of a set of benefits for local companies that participate in the development of the work.
