FCC Construcción took part in the Esri International Infrastructure Management & GIS Conference, held from 8 to 10 April in Frankfurt, Germany. The company was represented by Juan Ramón Mena, BIM Manager on the A465 in Wales, who explained the A465 GIS Portal and its various collaborative functions. He also presented the progress of the R&D project "Digichecks", where FCC Construccion is the coordinator.

FCC Construcción's commitment to digitalisation continues to advance through the deployment of the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Portal. This is a meeting point for GIS technology with the aim of providing users with digital tools that add value to their projects. Through this portal, access will be provided to those projects where there is a GIS implementation, with a brief description of the same, which can be accessed by anyone interested. Access to the specific GIS portals is subject to the management of permissions of the projects themselves.
 
The implementation of functionalities within the portal will be progressive, with the idea of responding to the different types of needs in all phases of the projects.  FCC Construcción has thus become a pioneer and leader in the implementation of this type of technological tools, placing itself at the forefront of the market.
