Esther Koplowitz closes the deal for long-term financing of DDG, her holding company for FCC shares

The long-term financing deal for the debt of Dominum Dirección y Gestión S.A. (DDG) became effective on 30 April of this year. DDG, which has acquired the companies B1998, S.A. and Azate, S.A., is fully owned by Ms. Esther Koplowitz Romero de Juseu and maintains a significant shareholding in Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas S.A., thereby fulfilling all of the conditions required for this financing to be fully effective.

This concludes the agreement reached in November 2014 with Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentina, S.A. and Bankia, S.A., granting the company owned by Ms. Esther Koplowitiz a five-year financing period. Dominum Dirección y Gestión, S.A. thereby regains its financial stability, exclusively focusing its efforts on managing its shareholding in FCC.

The refinancing of DDG's debt ultimately takes effect as the culmination of a process which began in September 2013 with the sole aim of improving and guaranteeing the Citizen Services Group's viability. By means of this process, Esther Koplowitiz facilitates the entry of new relevant shareholders into the FCC capital structure, significantly strengthening the Citizen Services Group.
