The LaLiga FOUNDATION was established in 1993 as a private, non-profit cultural entity, a pioneer in the field of professional football, and with a philanthropic spirit and commitment to society. In subsequent years, some LaLiga clubs begin to create their own foundations with an educational and social objective, using football as a social tool. Currently, LaLiga's social action is channeled through the Foundation within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility, promoting the Social Responsibility strategies of its clubs and foundations.
