FCC Construcción participates in Esri UK Welsh Conference 2024

FCC Construcción participated in the Esri UK Welsh Conference 2024 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. This is an international benchmark event in the use of GIS with Esri tools. Different government entities and companies from all types of industries in the United Kingdom collaborated in the conference.

The A465 Heads of the Valleys Section 5 & 6 project was present with the participation of the BIM Manager of the project, Juan Ramón Mena. His presentation was shared with TACP (UK) Ltd, environmental consultant of the project, where they explained the ways of collaboration between work teams in a GIS environment through the A465 GIS Portal.

The A465 GIS Portal is an ArcGIS-based solution used by all project members to collaborate, have more effective working meetings and achieve faster decision making. Within the platform, any type of information from BIM models, drone orthoimagery, inspections and GIS data from the different tasks involved in the construction of the highway can be consulted in real time.
