FCC Construcción celebrate the 22nd Meeting of the AEC CSR Community
Last Friday, June 14, the 22nd Meeting of the Spanish Association Association for Quality focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was held in the offices of FCC.
The Quality, CSR and R + D + i Directorate of FCC Construcción celebrate a networking space in which companies from different sectors, such as Enagas, Ibercaja, Técnicas Reunidas, Forética, Enusa advanced industries, IGS or AB Azucarera Iberia , among others, exchanged knowledge and experiences in CSR with the rest of the organizations participating in the event. The theme of the conference was "Integration of the Sustainable Development Goals in the management and reporting of organizations".
In a first block, Forética, an association of companies and professionals of corporate social responsibility and representative of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Spain, inaugurated the event exposing the main global trends in relation to the challenges linked to social, environmental and social sustainability. good government; as well as the global response (Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals) and business action.
Members of consultancy in CSR presented the current regulatory framework in this area and some local experiences.
In a second block, FCC Construcción, through the Quality Management, CSR and R & D + i, participated in a round table in which participants shared how FCC Construcción is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations and how it communicates its actions through its Sustainability Report.
Técnicas Reunidas presented an internal initiative focused on the dissemination of the SDGs among the company's personnel and Ibercaja, for its part, shared the details of its adaptation to the new challenges of the 2030 Agenda and the integration of the SDGs in its organization.
Finally, the reality of the SDGs in companies was discussed as a management or reporting tool, with the conclusion that progress is being made in integrating the 2030 Agenda objectives in companies, but that there is still a way to go.
