FCC Construccion hosts the 55th Meeting of the Community of the Environment of the Spanish Association for Quality
FCC Construcción has hosted the 55th Meeting of the Environment Community of the Spanish Association for Quality. The first meeting of 2018 of the AEC Environment Community took place in the headquarters of FCC Construccion, which acted as host of a group of experts who periodically organize meetings focused on exchanging and generating new knowledge and relationships.
The Communities of the AEC are spaces of relationship and networking, where professionals and companies share knowledge, experiences and success stories. In particular, the Community of the Environment aims to be a forum for dissemination, information, exchange of experiences and promotion of environmental management in organizations, also contributing to sustainable development.
After a presentation by FCC Construcción, carried out by David García Núñez, Communication and Marketing Manager at FCC Construcción, two presentations were made related to the Sustainable Development Goals, the thematic axis of the meeting.
The contribution of FCC Construcción to the achievement of the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations for Sustainable Development was exposed. The FCC Group's CSR 2020 Policy and Master Plan was presented, containing different initiatives and corporate actions aligned with the SDGs, the latest international trends in sustainability, the expectations of customers, financiers and users, and the business needs of the FCC. Likewise, the practical application of the Sustainable Development Objectives in FCC Construcción was announced, through its presence in the Sustainability Report, the objectives of the Management System and a scorecard of control indicators.
