FCC Construcción celebrates the first day of dissemination of R+D+i projects
FCC Construcción has held the first day of dissemination of R&D&i projects. The conference, organized by the National R+D+i Department, aims to show the results achieved in two national projects financed by the CDTI (Center for Industrial Technological Development).
An important part of the management of R&D&i activities is ensuring that the company's staff knows the results of the projects, which also allows the possibility of applying them to other projects to be analysed.
- PWDRON Project - DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATED MONITORING SYSTEM FOR INFRASTRUCTURES IN LINEAR CIVIL WORKS BASED ON DRONES. The objective of the project lies in the development of a centralized system for automated monitoring of the execution of linear civil works infrastructures (motorways, dual carriageways, highways, interchanges, railway lines and stations, large-volume earthworks, slope stability and pipeline networks) based on drones with advanced technological features, specifically developed within the framework of the project, as well as on a new technological platform for the exchange, treatment and distribution of data using BIM methodology.
- SAFETY4D Project - ADVANCED AND HIGH-PERFORMANCE PROCESS FOR THE PREVENTION OF OCCUPATIONAL RISKS IN CONSTRUCTION, WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BIM METHODOLOGY
Its objective is the development of a new advanced high-performance process for the prevention of occupational risks in construction, with the development of a methodology and tool, which allows the improvement of risk prevention and, with it, the reduction of number of accidents in the field of construction, all implemented within the management framework using the BIM methodology.
Different researchers from FCC Construcción who have worked on these projects participated in the conference, as well as different partners such as HOVERING, IDP, INGECID and the University of Cantabria.
