FCC Construcción completes the branch line 2 of the Panama Metro

FCC Construcción has completed the branch line 2 of the Panama Metro. This new line connects the Stations of the Higher Specialized Technical Institute (ITSE) and the Tocumen International Airport.

The project, with a length of 2 kilometers, benefits more than 100,000 inhabitants of the eastern sector of Panama City, tourists and employees of the air terminal, as well as students.

With the Line 2 branch, Panama becomes the first country in Central America and one of the few cities in Latin America to have a Metro connection between the city center and its main international airport. This completed branch will be used by more than 1,000 passengers a day, including students from the National Institute of Vocational Training and Training for Human Development (Inadeh) and ITSE, as well as tourists.
