FCC Construcción has completed the new Port Police building in Barcelona Harbour. The building unifies all the police's equipment, equipping it with the latest technology and facilitating daily operations. The new Control Centre has been equipped with the latest security technology to deal with and respond to incidents and emergencies in the port in the most efficient way.

The space, built over the old control centre next to the ASTA Building. The new building concentrates all the needs of the Port Police, which until now were scattered in other buildings, making operations difficult. It houses the Headquarters, the Control Centre and the crisis room, as well as the briefing room, the support office, the changing rooms and the office. It also includes a multi-purpose training room and spaces for the mobile fleet. The Control Centre is equipped with the latest security technology. It will have access to the more than 400 CTTV cameras distributed throughout the Port of Barcelona to monitor incidents and port emergencies. Thanks also to the communications integrator, it allows them to monitor and audit actions, as well as the geolocation of police patrols to mobilise the most appropriate resources in each case.
