FCC Construccion manufactures drawers in the Port of Algeciras (Cádiz) for the construction of a LNG complex in Saint Petersburg

The construction area of the FCC Group has built the first drawers "Manuela" and "Carmen" in Algeciras (Cádiz), for the company PETON, which transports and anchors them in Saint Petersburg. The boxes, type A3, will be used for the construction of a new Liquefied Natural Gas production, storage and loading complex near the PORTOVAYA compression station in the VYSOTSK port in the UFA region near St. Petersburg. FCC Construccion must deliver a total of 22 drawers, of different typology and dimensions, for the aforementioned project.

The construction of the terminal consists of five stages. In the first stage, the installation of floating caissons in the berthing and exit part is carried out. Next, half of the drawers that act as mooring bollards are placed, as well as the first drawer of the protective structure. After filling the space in the back of the berthing crates, a protective structure is constructed, before concluding the terminal with the installation of the rest of the bollards.
