FCC Construcción finalist in the 3rd Forbes Innovation Awards
FCC Construcción has been a finalist in the 3rd Forbes Innovation Awards, which celebrate the transformative impact of technology in the business world.
The company, through Jose Carlos Rico Pérez, BIM Manager of FCC Construcción, was a finalist in the ‘Leadership and Innovation’ category with the ATLAAS tool.
Digitalisation continues to be an imperative reality for the transformation of companies. Regardless of their size, companies must embrace this change and draw up an innovation plan to achieve success and survival in an increasingly competitive market. FCC Construcción was one of the 35 finalists out of a total of 250 applications submitted. All of them had been selected for contributing to sustainable growth and social progress, applying new business models and processes, redefining the way of working or creating new customer experiences.
The categories of the competition were: ‘Customer Experience’, recognising new ways of interacting with customers; “Disruptive Technology”, for those who are breaking barriers and creating new sources of value, efficiency and competitive advantage; “Talent and Culture”, focused on people and cultural transformation, essential to advance digitalisation; “Leadership in Innovation”, highlighting leaders who have overcome significant challenges in different business areas with an impact on their organisations; and “Innovative Product or Business Model”, where tangible improvements in products, processes or business models were rewarded.
All the projects are proof that digital transformation is a reality, and testimony to the fact that innovation is key to changing not only the business world, but also the future of society.
