FCC Construcción completes the comprehensive refurbishment project for the CEU San Pablo Valencia School

FCC Construcción has completed the comprehensive refurbishment project for the CEU San Pablo Valencia School. The project involved the transformation of over 17,000 square metres of educational spaces and the refurbishment of over 36,000 square metres of sports facilities and gardens.

The new facilities enable the school to accommodate its growth and consolidate a comprehensive educational offering from Early Years to Sixth Form. The school also incorporates specific spaces for the first stage of Early Years (0, 1 and 2 years) and new classrooms adapted to the delivery of the International Baccalaureate Programme, thereby reinforcing its commitment to a global and innovative education.

One of the key values of the transformation is the creation of specialised spaces that promote active methodologies and more practical, collaborative and interdisciplinary learning experiences. The new campus features science laboratories, art and design studios, STEAM spaces, Maker workshops, music and language classrooms, and a Public Speaking Room designed to develop skills that are increasingly relevant to pupils’ futures, such as communication, leadership, critical thinking and public speaking.

The refurbishment has also enabled the creation of new spaces for gathering and socialising that enrich school life. Among these, the Ágora stands out: a large covered area of over 2,000 square metres designed as the heart of the school and intended to host cultural activities, gatherings, exhibitions, celebrations, sporting events and functions for the entire educational community.

The campus also features a new chapel with capacity for over 120 people, alongside a completely refurbished assembly hall equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology. The Early Years section also boasts unique spaces specifically designed to support the holistic development of the youngest children. These include the Magic Classroom, focused on sensory stimulation and experiential learning, and The Forest, a nature-inspired environment that encourages exploration, creativity and discovery from a very early age.

FCC Construcción is one of the leading international companies in the design and construction of educational, cultural and sports facilities.
