FCC Construcción signs to agreement for the reform Club de Mar Mallorca

The company FCC Construcción and the Mallorcan company Vías de Obras Públicas (VOPSA) have signed the contract to reform the Club de Mar Mallorca that will transform the maritime facade of Palma at its western end and open the port to the city.

The Club de Mar Mallorca, after the reform will become the most modern and sustainable recreational port in the Mediterranean.

This project will begin the process of global reform of the Paseo Marítimo de Palma and will give a strong boost to the integrative concept of port-city promoted by the City Council in collaboration with the APB, by expanding the public use areas of the concession and creation of an axis of connection between the Promenade and the Cruise Station, in addition to the improvements in the services that the new facility will allow us to provide to our partners and users.

The construction area of the FCC Group has in its portfolio numerous maritime and river works of great technical complexity throughout the world. For this, it has machinery in possession and a team of Technical Services capable of innovating in each of its achievements and monitoring all its works. He has executed more than 44 kilometers of dikes, more than 32 kilometers of docks and 873 drawers built in port extensions.
