FCC Construcción has won the construction contract of the new branch of the District Digital (DD) in the Port of Alicante. The society Thematic Projects of the Comuitat Valenciana (SPTCV) selected FCC Construction as a successful bidder for the execution of the building works multipurpose planned on the esplanade of Pier 5, which is expected to accommodate the installation of technology-based companies aligned with the District's objectives: the promotion of the digital economy to diversify the productive model of the Region.

From FCC Construcción's proposal, the quality of the proposed solution stands out for the drainage of water during the execution of the works as well as the technical solvency of the company and its experience in the execution of other similar infrastructures.
The new sub-headquarters of the Digital District should be completed in early 2023. The The property will be built on a 5,000 square meter plot of land.

Pier 5, in an open layout to the sports dock. It will be in the form of a container with open spaces and allusions to the seafront, such as the shape of the waves in the deck and sails. It will be made up of four modules with three spaces between them to be used for uses, recreational or complementary services to the personnel of the companies that are installed at.
