FCC Construcción has won the construction contract for the new building of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH). The contract has an amount of more than 14 million euros and an execution period of 18 months.

The building will be built on the plot EQ-1 of the Nou Nazaret Partial Plan. The building is projected as a simple building, with a central corridor and classrooms on both sides, looking for the best orientations, arranging two main communication nuclei at the ends.

Likewise, it will suppose its integration in the current campus, configuring the future actions to be carried out in it. New public spaces are proposed with the same aesthetic and constructive characteristics as the existing ones to maintain that harmony. In this case, it will have a main finish of precast concrete and large windows in the common spaces, promoting the integration of the exterior spaces with the interior relationship spaces.

The main façade of the building is linked to the central promenade, proposing large terraces on each floor so that the main lobbies are linked to them, always keeping the central promenade of the Campus as the main reference.
