FCC Construcción has won the contract for improvements to the Cercanias de Sol station (Madrid). The project has a budget of 7.5 million euros and an execution period of 24 months.

With this action, ADIF aims to provide the station with new emergency exits and new fire protection equipment. The aim is to optimize the evacuation and ventilation conditions of the station, given the increase in passengers and users that is expected due to its new connection with the Gran Vía Metro station, as well as the growth in demand.

The works will be organized in such a way that they do not interfere with the railway service and the daily operation of the station.
