FCC Construcción winner of the VI ACHE Engineering Award

FCC Construcción, through the Wanda Metropolitano project, has been the winner in the building category of the VI ACHE Engineering Award.

The jury was made up of representatives of ACHE and other institutions: Higher Technical School of Civil Engineers, Canals and Ports of Santander, College of Civil Engineers and Superior Council of Architects.

The winning projects are:

Bridges Category: Queensferry Crossing, Edinburgh (Scotland)
Building Category: Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid
Catwalks Category: Pedestrian walkway for access to the Marineda shopping center, A Coruña
Structural Rehabilitation Category: Extension and rehabilitation of the bridge over the Ebro in Gelsa, Zaragoza
Innovation Category: Capacity expansion of the Rande Bridge - AP9, Vigo

The award ceremony will take place at the VIII ACHE Congress, which will be held in Santander between June 20 and 22, 2022.
