FCC Construcción obtains the ‘Zero Waste’ Certificate for the N-332 Benissa bypass construction project

FCC Construcción has obtained the ‘Zero Waste’ Certificate for the N-332 Benissa bypass construction project, a recognition that highlights the company's firm commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management. This achievement once again reinforces its position as a benchmark in the sector in the application of practices aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and with the transition towards a more efficient, circular and environmentally friendly construction model.

This milestone has been made possible thanks to the involvement of the project team, whose technicians have rigorously supervised and documented each stage of the process, ensuring compliance with the criteria established by the ‘Zero Waste’ verification scheme. Their work has not only enabled the certification requirements to be met, but has gone even further: the project has achieved a recovery rate of 99.999%, which shows that virtually all the waste generated has been recycled.

With this recognition, FCC Construcción continues to advance its environmental strategy, consolidating management systems that reduce the impact of its activities and demonstrating that sustainability can be effectively integrated into large-scale construction projects.
