FCC Construcción has obtained the certification in the international standard ISO 45001: 2018 "Occupational safety and health management systems-Requirements with guidance for their use" after successfully overcoming the audits carried out by the certification company SGS. In this way, FCC Construcción is among the first companies in Spain to obtain the new international accreditation in matters of occupational health and safety.

ISO 45001: 2018 specifies the criteria and requirements of a Safety and Health Management System at work, allowing companies and organizations to offer their workers and stakeholders, safe and healthy working conditions, including proper management of labor welfare.

Obtaining ISO 45001 guarantees that FCC Construccion has implemented the best practices in occupational health and safety, minimizing occupational hazards with effective prevention measures, developing a preventive culture, protecting the safety and health of workers; all under the leadership and commitment of the management of the company along with the consultation and participation of workers.
