The Construction Area of FCC Group, within the programmed activities corresponding to the celebration of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, has participated in the XI edition of AR & PA 2018. In this edition, FCC Construccion through its R + D + Department i exhibited SORTI.

The objective of the project is to develop tools based on optical systems and new technologies, which allow to identify, control and properly manage structural risks in buildings and buildings; civil works in an intelligent, automatic and telemetric way. Safety is maximized and risks are minimized in situations of possible structural collapse.

The SORTi system provides tools for the accurate identification of risks in buildings and civil works.

During these days, new methods and customized developments were exposed for the BIM modeling of historic buildings and infrastructures; technologies and cutting-edge techniques for energy efficiency in buildings of historical and cultural interest, artificial intelligence and computer vision for security in historical heritage, preventive conservation, predictive maintenance and intelligent diagnosis. application of big-data and deep-learning for the management of buildings and urban environments, computational intelligence for the study and recording of intangible heritage, robotics applied to intervention in real estate, service robotics for cultural tourism, rural development strategies and urban based on cultural and natural heritage; definition and analysis of indicators on the socio-economic value of cultural and natural heritage.
