FCC Construcción has participated in the reference forum for construction 4.0 in Spain: BIMTECNIA.

It is an annual meeting, held in Valladolid, in which industry 4.0 technologies applied to the habitat and construction sector from its various approaches were presented. FCC Construcción presented in the Practical Case section, the implementation of BIM in the remodeling works of the North Node

BIMTECNIA was divided into different thematic blocks:

• ENVIRONMENT block in which the digital model was presented as an integrating tool for all the agents involved in the complete construction life cycle. Analyzing its useful life cycle and its integration in the circular economy process through BIM technology
• Block THE AUTONOMOUS CONSTRUCTION. The AECO sector has benefited greatly from the development of the digital twin. It was explained how robots have managed to improve the competitiveness of the sector, incorporating BIM technology.
• Block THE INDUSTRIALIZATION. It was analyzed how digital modeling has managed to optimize construction processes.
• EL PATRIMONIO block. It was seen how BIM technology has taken center stage in the national heritage strategy and how it is being implemented internationally, turning elements of the past into opportunities for the future.

It was a national benchmark event for industry 4.0 in which FCC Construcción was the only construction company present, an aspect that demonstrates the company's leadership in the development and implementation of BIM technology.
