FCC Construcción has participated in the forum organized by the Spanish Network of the Pact
World, "sustainable finance in the field business. Regulatory advances in the framework of the European Union".

In the virtual meeting, the different ongoing regulatory initiatives on sustainability affecting the business world and the financial sector, from the disclosure of non-financial information, to the directive of corporate governance, green taxonomies and social, the ecolabel or the disclosure regulation sustainability, among others.

The opening of the act was carried out by the President of the Spanish Network of the Global Compact and the President of Spainsif. To then Marcel Haag, Director of Horizontal Policies of DG FISMA - European Commission, I made a presentation on EU funds.

FCC Construcción, through its Director of Administration and Finance, Maria Carrasco, participated in the round table "regulatory advances in finance sustainable for the company ”moderated by the CEO of ICEX, and which in turn had the participation of the Director of Environment and Human Rights of Telefónica, the head of Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Iberdrola and the Santander sustainability director. The panel responded to the following Questions: How has the interest in sustainable finance increased and increased activity in your respective sectors and in your companies in particular?; What is your assessment of the new regulatory initiatives that the European Commission is proposing? Do you think that the Next Generation EU program and its application in the Member States through Reconstruction Plans will comply its mission to promote sustainable investment ?.
