FCC Construcción has participated in the seminar "the water challenges in Spain, the action is necessary", held in Madrid on 26 and 27 March.

These days have been organized by the College of Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports, and have had the presence of the Minister for the Ecological Transition, the general director of water of the same Ministry, with different positions of Hydrographic Confederations, and with representatives of private companies that play a key role in the infrastructures and / or management of the country's water resources. FCC Construcción was present through Antonio Burgueño, director of quality and CSR, in the panel of "proposals to address the challenges of water governance".

Spain faces today important challenges of all kinds around water. Social and economic development depends on the sustainable management of natural resources. Therefore, it is necessary to preserve and sustainably use water resources, addressing scarcity and pollution, protecting biological diversity, ecosystems, wild flora and fauna and promoting resilience and reducing risk in the face of natural disasters.
