FCC Construcción has participated in the National Pavement Symposium, where it has been able to present the communication “Durability and functionality of concrete pavements with exposed aggregate texture in the face of freeze-thaw cycles”.

The objective of the symposium has been to seek a common space in which those solutions have been discussed that are guided by the new requirements, which allow reducing the effects on the environment, especially the emission of greenhouse gases, the use of materials at the end of its useful life, which will save the consumption of materials and favor the circular economy, the use of technologies that reduce energy needs, the application of more resilient solutions, with greater expectations of durability and the use of new technologies of communication that will allow the optimization of resources.

In addition, from FCC Construcción we organized the visit to the expansion project of the A-33 motorway between the towns of Caudete and Yecla. During said visit, the works carried out by the company were presented from the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. The concrete samples of the previous works were shown, witnesses of the paving executed, paving paving (where the execution of the rigid bilayer pavement could be seen) and finally, the paving executed was circulated to check the quality of its rolling.
