FCC Construcción has participated in the 13th edition of the Investructuras Congress, the reference congress for investment and financing of infrastructure projects at an international level. The event has brought together in Madrid the main actors from the private sector (construction companies, concessionaires, investors, banking and financial entities, engineering, consulting firms, law firms) and the Public Administration.

In the 13th edition of the INVESTructuras Congress, current issues in the infrastructure investment and financing sector were addressed with more than 40 speakers and 7 debate panels. Some of the central topics of the congress have been the challenges and investments in the railway sector, priority investments, the main international market strategies or the monetization of alternative assets.

Leyre Navarro, director of Legal Department at FCC Construcción, participated in the round table “legal news: challenges of the concession model”. This round table discussed the distribution of risks in the field of relationships between financiers-concessionaires-contractors; risks in the sector: price review and rebalancing as well as contract management as an alternative to the regulatory model. Finally, the financing of the modernization of infrastructure was presented.
