FCC Construcción participates in the conference of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the Spain-USA Chamber of Commerce, "the new infrastructure plan in the United States"
FCC Construcción has actively participated in the conference of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the Spain-USA Chamber of Commerce, “the new infrastructure plan in the United States”.
FCC Construcción was present at the round table moderated by SEOPAN, entitled "The new US infrastructure plan, opportunities for Spanish companies". Manuel Olivares, Director America and Director of Studies and Contracting of FCC Construcción, participated in the discussion table, along with Daniel Muñiz, Director, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners.
The infrastructure plan represents an investment of 1.2 trillion dollars (about one trillion euros). The plan foresees the financing of new infrastructure projects for the next five years worth 550,000 million dollars, which will serve to renew roads and bridges, as well as the energy or public transport systems of the country.
Another action envisaged in the proposal is to create a national network of charging stations for electric vehicles that runs throughout the country. The production of solar panels, wind farms, batteries and electric motors will also be promoted with the idea of exporting this technology to the rest of the world.
