This event had participation from 12 Spanish cooperative companies, labelled as such by the ICEX for their ability to unite with other smaller scale companies via their own business. In addition to these twelve, twenty something companies from the sector also took part, among which were consulting firms and product and/or services supplier companies.

This activity is set within the framework of the ICEX Integra initiative, aim of which is to increase participation of Spanish SMEs such as suppliers on international projects which are being awarded and implemented by major Spanish companies.

The workshops were aimed at Spanish companies linked to transport infrastructure, namely rail and roads, which have a clear international projection. The event focused on the integration of these companies in international projects which are led by a major Spanish company.

Organised by the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Spanish Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, the event was attended by the Managing Director of Internationalisation of the ICEX and the Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the embassy.
